You remove a car wrap by heating the vinyl, peeling it back at a low angle, and cleaning off the leftover adhesive.
That is the short version. The details are where people go wrong and end up with torn vinyl, baked-on glue, or damaged paint.
Here is how to do it right, whether the wrap is a year old or has been baking in the Oklahoma sun for five summers.
Removal is not complicated, but the wrong tools make it miserable. Gather everything first.
Work in a shaded, warm spot. A garage in the middle of an Edmond summer is close to ideal because warm vinyl releases far more easily than cold vinyl.

Spray adhesive remover on the residue, let it sit for a minute, then wipe with a microfiber towel. Reapply as needed until the panel is smooth.
Finish with a wash and a coat of wax or sealant. Bare, freshly stripped paint needs protection, and this is a good moment to add it.

On factory paint in good condition, a properly installed wrap comes off clean and protects the surface underneath.
